Both PIC and its exciting prequel Prove It God came out of my 9 years teaching high school religion. The idea was to just to answer questions that these students (by extension young Catholics) ask, questions that aren't answered in most catechetical materials.
So Prove it God answers your basic God questions. Sort of. And PIC answers questions that kids get from their evangelical friends, challenging the whole Catholic thing.
